Fractured

What we used to trust

was perhaps more fragile

than we thought.

What we were comfortable with

wasn’t as lasting as we

hoped.

Sometimes the way

is more fragile than it seems.

You only discover that

after it is broken.

When it shatters

and your fears explode forcefully —

don’t relinquish hope.

For a slender silver thread of hope

is stronger than

the teflon

tyrant.
