Questions Simmering (since my best friend in college was killed and what I believe, now)

Why?

Why suffering?

Does God love us, really?

Does God have power

enough

to stop

pain?

Is

God?

This is what

I believe

today:

Love

made us.

All of us.

Our purpose

here

is

to love

and be

loved.

Wholeness

peace

and health

is the aim

and

intent

but

this natural

world

we inhabit

includes

brokenness

decay

and death.

Also, free will

that endows us

with

choice.

Along with

our drive

to know,

learn

create

have

and

keep

human beings

have also

excelled

in

greed

war

destruction

of water land air

relationship.

This destruction
amplifies

natural decay

and causes

more

more

more

suffering.

I believe

that in any

suffering

God

suffers

too

suffers

with

God with us.

That is

what it means

to love a God

who

took on flesh

gave and received

loved

suffered

forgave

died

Loved some

more

Does it do any good

to pray to God

to stop

Stop

just stop

the pain?

The loss?

The disease?

I believe

God always knows

what we want

need

and hope.

We don’t have to ask.

So,

prayer is about

relationship

and trust

making  quiet

in mind and heart

to be

with

with Love.

Sometimes

there is

physical healing

and sometimes

not.

The result

is not

due

to anyones’s worthiness

value

or efforts
that is where

Trust

comes in

we won’t

know

Why

But we will

know

Love
