Noticing

There are so many ways to

be busy fill time stress out feel jammed be booked cram rush around

But–

every single day is composed of

eighty-six thousand, four-hundred seconds

and you have some choice

on how to spend

minutes.

What if in the next minute–

you chose to

notice?

Take

a

minute

What is right

before you:

gaze at.

See each tuck and swirl

sense light glisten

just at the edge;

with your fingertips

trace the outline;

love the weight of it

with your palm.

Breathe in

the scent of the moment

and make it part of you.

What  do you

notice?
